The People’s Vaccine Alliance brought together over 135 organisations including UNAids, Oxfam and Amnesty International. 

To show the disproportionate impact of Covid-19 on women and girls, we created a 7ft high x 10ft wide, self-standing and mobile installation from blue and black surgical masks. It bore the message: “Covid is Sexist”.. United Nations facts and stats are legible in the background of the piece. Award-winning set designers ensured the installation was fully mobile on swivel wheels. We took our message directly to UN leaders in New York at high profile events during the UN General Assembly. Excitingly, we were able to the get giant puppet ‘Amal’ to engage with our artwork while she too was in New York.
